Arnita insights

How to prepare a textile request for quotation.

A useful textile RFQ gives suppliers enough information to quote the same requirement rather than making assumptions.

Include the product name, fibre composition, construction, count or GSM where relevant, dimensions, colour, finishing, quantity, destination and delivery window. Add sample or reference details, packaging, testing requirements, required documentation and target price if available. For garments, attach a tech pack or approved reference; for yarn, specify count system and spinning method; for fabrics, specify construction, width, weight and finish.

Key takeaway: A clear RFQ makes quotations easier to compare and reduces avoidable clarification rounds.
