Responsibility begins with what can be evidenced.
We aim to bring material-origin information, relevant supplier records and traceability requirements into sourcing conversations according to the product and transaction.
More than a sustainability label.
Responsible textile sourcing involves the materials selected, the facilities and processes involved, the reliability of supplier information and the evidence available to support relevant claims.
Arnita aims to consider sustainability and traceability requirements alongside quality, price, quantity and delivery expectations. The specific checks depend on the product, supply-chain route, destination market and buyer requirements.
Our principle
Claims should match the evidence. A certificate or declaration must be understood in context, including the product, facility, transaction, period and scope it actually covers.
Follow the information across relevant stages.
The stages below are illustrative. Not every order has complete records at every stage.
Review the scope, not just the logo.
Depending on product and buyer needs, relevant evidence may include fibre-composition declarations, origin records, transaction documentation, product test reports, supplier audit information or material certifications.
Supplier-level documentation must not be presented as an Arnita-wide credential or as evidence for a product or shipment outside its actual scope.
Build the process over time.
- Standardise product and supplier information requests.
- Maintain a documented supplier qualification process.
- Improve visibility into order and shipment milestones.
- Review evidence before publishing material claims.
